- I'm a Catholic homemaker with no children, but the wonderful blessing of a loving husband and three cats. I think it's important to live with a small impact on the earth, since God has left it in our care. I also really enjoy learning and doing old-fashioned things, and I'm pretty old-fashioned myself. These combine in my homestead-y type lifestyle and my creative hobbies. I believe that an active sense of gratitude is vital for finding happiness in life and that being kind and joyful is more important than winning arguments or being popular.

I tried to answer your question about the dog quilt but your blogger e-mail comes up as a “no-reply”.
The quilt is about 40 to 45 inches wide and just a little longer. It was for a small dog and I originally wanted to make a smaller quilt but since Maggie’s name was so long the quilt came out fairly big.
